The Yellow Fairy Book

The Yellow Fairy Book (Volume 4 of the “Colored Fairy Books"). The “Colored Fairy Books”, by Andrew Lang, together make up one of the largest collections of fairy tales ever compiled from a broad range of cultures and nationalities. In all, the collection presents 437 fairy tales over twelve volumes – each named by a distinctive color. All the volumes have been richly illustrated primarily by Henry J. Ford. The Yellow Fairy Book, first published in 1894, contains the classics “The Dragon of the North”, “The Invisible Prince”, “Thumbelina”, “Blockhead Hans”, and 44 other tales.
