The Orange Fairy Book

The Orange Fairy Book (Volume 10 of the “Colored Fairy Books"). The “Colored Fairy Books”, by Andrew Lang, together make up one of the largest collections of fairy tales ever compiled from a broad range of cultures and nationalities. In all, the collection presents 437 fairy tales over twelve volumes – each named by a distinctive color. All the volumes have been richly illustrated primarily by Henry J. Ford. The Orange Fairy Book, first published in 1906, contains the classics “The Fox and the Wolf”, “The Ugly Duckling”, “The Magic Mirror”, “The Bird of Truth”, and 28 other tales.
