Intrigue has captured the court of France once again, as it is discovered that Louis XIV has a twin brother, Philippe, who was hidden from birth by his father and mother. Aramis schemes to replace Louis XIV with Philippe and draws his friends unwittingly into a dangerous and ultimately deadly web of deceit and retribution.
