Heretics

$1.00

Heretics, by G. K. Chesterton, sets the groundwork for Chesterton's later masterpiece Orthodoxy. In Heretics G.K. Chesterton refutes several popular philosophies (or "heresies") of his day, such as negativism, relativism, neo-paganism, puritanism, aestheticism, and individualism. The work  itself consists of 20 essays, each of which focuses on a separate topic. Although much of Heretics is rooted in the historical context of the early 20th century, many of the philosophies it discusses remain unchanged. The modern reader will find Chesterton's insights witty and quotable, as well as incisive and relevant.
